FMC Technologies Case Study
Challenge
FMC Technologies provides technology solutions and services to the global energy industry. In 2016, they began moving into Phase 1 of their new headquarters on a 173-acre campus in Houston, Texas. The project has been awarded LEED® Gold Certification.
The lush landscaping is designed to be an inviting and tranquil space for employees
to enjoy as they walk between the campus buildings.
With BACnet Manager, FMC Technologies’ Building Management System can display important information like water-use data and system alerts from their BaseStation 3200 irrigation controllers.
Solution
In keeping with LEED’s focus on water efficiency and water conservation, the irrigation system uses a non-potable water supply to reduce impact on the local clean water supply.
The choice to install Baseline products on the new FMC Technologies campus was influenced by the availability of BACnet Manager — the industry’s first solution for integrating an irrigation system with a Building Management System.
